OFFERED
The College offers
4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy course and
2-year Diploma in Pharmacy Course
with an annual intake of 60 students in each course.
APPROVALS & AFFILIATIONS
The courses offered are approved by the AICTE
(All India Council for Technical Education) and
PCI (Pharmacy Council of India)
and are recognized by the government of Orissa.
The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University
of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela
and the Orissa State Board of Pharmacy (O.S.B.P)
Bhubaneswar for B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. courses
respecively. Also the college is an Institutional
member of ISTE (Certificate No
1052).
ELGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
B. Pharm. : The applicant must
have passed the +2 Science Examination of C.H.S.E,
Orissa or its eqivalent examination.
D. Pharm. : The applicant must
have passed the +2 Science Examination of C.H.S.E,
Orissa or its equivalent examination.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
B.Pharm. : The selection is done
through JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) followed
by counselling.
D.Pharm. : The selection is done
by the Govt.of Orissa through counselling by the
convener, D.Pharm Selection Committee.

DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF
ADMISSION
The following documents in original are required
to be produced at the time of admission:
• H.S.C pass
certificate
• +2 science
or its quivalent examination mark sheets and pass
certificate.
• Conduct
certificate issued by the principal of the
Institution last attended.
• College leaving
Certificate / Transfer Certifiacte from the institution
last studied / attended.
• Migration
Certificate where applicable.
• SC/ST/OBC/PH
etc., certificate if applicable.
•
Physical fitness certificate from
a registered medical practitioner.
• Five recent
passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted
Officer.
•Self addressed
stamped (Rs.5/-) envelopes of size 10cm*25cm-
5nos. for D.Pharm. and 10 nos. for B.Pharm.
• Attested
copies of all certificates, mark sheets, etc.
of H.S.C(Class
10) examination and +2 Science examination
- 2sets.
•JEE Rank card
in case of B.Pharm.
•Any other
documents/undertaking as required at the time
of admission.
FEES PAYABLE
As prescribed by the Govt. from time to time.
Fees paid, shall not be refunded under any circumstences.
The fees should be paid in the form of a demand
draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour
of "Royal College of Pharmacy & Health
Sciences" payable at Berhampur(Gm).

ACADEMIC SESSION
B. Pharm. : As per B.P.U.T. regulation
1st Semester starts in the month of August and
2nd Semester in the month of January.
D. Pharm. :
1st Year - July.
2nd Year - July.
ATTENDANCE
75% attendance is compulsory in each theory &
practical to become eligible to appear at the
Board/University examinations.The students are
however encouraged to put in 100% attendance for
better academic results.
EXAMINATIONS AND EVALUATIONS
B.Pharm.
As per the rules and regulations of the BPUT.
D.Pharm.
There shall be 3 sessional examinations in each
subject in an academic year each carrying 20 Marks.
Average of best two performances is sent to the
O.S.B.P. (Examining Authority) as the final sessional
marks out of 20. Board examination will be held
for 80 Marks in each subject and the total marks
thus become 100 (20+80) in each paper. The practical
sessional marks are awarded on the basis of day
to day performance and viva-voce in each practical
class.
PRACTICAL TRAINING
After completion of D.pharm Part-I, and Part-II,
the students are required to undergo 3 months
practical training in a recognized hospital. The
training will be arranged by the College.
Industrial Tour: Study tours
are organised for both B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. students
to visit various pharmaceutical industries of
national and international repute.
